At St. Mary’s we recognise that that we do not know what the future holds for our students .We therefore aim to provide a curriculum which supports children in developing independent learning skills as well as subject specific knowledge skills and understanding.

Our curriculum provides inspiring learning opportunities enabling children to enjoy, make progress and achieve.

We aim to engage the children in their learning in the early stage of unit design by incorporating their questions and ideas in our planning. Care and consideration  is taken into the way we deliver our curriculum in order to support the children in becoming active participants in the learning process– the use of ICT is central to this.

Our Christian values and the Every Child Matters agenda are a key thread that pulls our curriculum together with a focus on developing confident individuals who are able to live safe and fulfilling lives and become responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to the global society.
